The results of the X International professional tasting competition “Odessa gulf” 2010.

Within the frameworks of the Tenth International Specialised Exhibitions “Wine and winemaking” and “High degree”» has taken place the X International Professional tasting contest “Odessa Gulf”. This action became one of the central events of exhibitions that passed in Odessa on the 4th- 6th of February, 2010 in exhibition hall of the Maritime Terminal.

The main goal of competition is revealing of qualitative product samples and supporting for promoting of competitive products in the internal and international markets. The structure of the official tasting commission of the competition included representatives of the state structures, scientific research institutes, leading experts of winemaking and alcoholic beverage enterprises of Ukrainian and foreign industry, authority international experts – tasters.

There were presented more than 170 samples of wine and alcoholic beverage production from Ukraine, Moldova, Byelorussia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, France, Italy, Romania and Russia on the competition.

The samples presented for the competition were estimated under the international standards.

By the results of competition the highest award Gran Prix in the nomination “Table varietals seasoned white wines” was presented to “Industrial-trading company Shabo” for wine “Chardonay Classic Shabo», Gran Prix in the nomination “Champagne brut” was presented to JSC “Odessavinprom” for champagne “French boulevard” brut white SE”, Gran Prix in the nomination “Branded cognac – Cognac Old” – “Industrial-trading company Shabo” for cognac “Shabo Reserve 20”.

Gold, silver, bronze medals and diplomas also were presented to the winners.
