IV International specialized exhibition “BoatExpo.Odessa” has taken place in April 9-12, 2009 in the Odessa Sea Port.
The exhibition traditionally was held within the limits of the VII Assembly of Tourist Business supported by the Ministry of culture and tourism of Ukraine, Federation of sailing sport of Ukraine, Federation of sailing sport of the Odessa Region, Assembly of European Regions, Odessa State Regional Administration and Odessa City Counsil.
General informational partner of the “Boat Expo. Odessa” exhibition is the Ukrainian marine magazine “Skipper”.
The companies which are engaged in designing and small shipbuilding have taken part in an exhibition of 2009 (“Tehflot”, “Skloplastik”, “Vektor”, “Aleksandr Yahts”, “TM KASATKA”), the firms rendering services in storage and operation of water techniques (“Minbud”, “Plast Bak”), yacht insurance (“International Law Offices”), yacht charter (“Pupa Yachting”, Turkey), administrative and operating VIP yachts management (“Kaalbay Yahting”), and also companies representing yacht clothes (ÒÌ “MARINEPOOL”, Snigur PE), yacht equipment and outboard motors (“Yachtglanz – Marine Equipment” (Germany), “Reson A/S” (Denmark), “Spetsautotechnika Center”, “Yamaha-net” company), navigating systems (“Aeroscan”) and others.
Visitors of the “BoatExpo. Odessa” exhibition had an opportunity to get acquainted personally with the production of such known western manufacturers, as: Honda, presented by “Spetsautotechnika Center”; Crownline, Brig, UMS Boats, Quicksilver, Silver, Johnson, Honda, Tohatsu, Mercury, the sailing yachts Dufour, presented by “Katran”; boats Lamberti presented by company “Soyuz-Ukraine”; Unicor Group presented by “Junikor Odessa” company; Byliner, Cranchi, Majesty, aqua bikes Jet One, presented by the company “MARINE SERVICE”; ÒÌ KAWASAKI presented by “Motoexpress” Company; amphibian boats, presented by MTPK “ALNI” and others.
Round table “Yacht. Flag and Polis” devoted to pressing questions of registration and insurance of yachts and boats became one of the central events of the exhibition. The round table was provided by “International Law Offices” (Ukraine) and RSIC “Rosgosstrakh” (Russia).
The exposition “Golden Age of the Odessa yachting”, given by Association of Odessa yachtsmen “Odessa 200” in the name of its vice-president Skachek Andrey became the exhibition ornament.
On creation of a wide resonance of the exhibition the advertising campaign including all modern tools of advertising communications and public relations has been directed. Information support of “BoatExpo. Odessa” rendered such specialized editions as “Water Bazar”, “Sudostroenie i Sudoremont” and also Internet portals www.seamedia.ru, www.yachtsworld.ru, www.yachta.ru, www.marinapages.ru, and a number of popular editions, such as “Comments”, “Kyiv Weekly”, “XXL”, “Development of business, person, success”, etc.
All the events within the limits of “Boat Expo. Odessa” exhibition in 2009 were highly appreciated by experts. Results of the questioning spent at an exhibition among participants and visitors allow predicting expansion of the exhibition’s exposition, increasing in quantity of its participants and visitors.
