From 14.04.2008

In April 10-13, 2008 in Odessa within the limits of the VI Assembly of Tourist Business III International specialized exhibition “BoatExpo.Odessa” and II Specialized exposition “Fishing and Hunting” has taken place. 

Exhibition was supported by the Ministry of culture and tourism of Ukraine, Federation of sailing sport of Ukraine, Federation of sailing sport of the Odessa Region, Assembly of European Regions, Odessa State Regional Administration and Odessa City Counsil.

General informational partner of the “Boat Expo. Odessa” exhibition is the Ukrainian marine magazine “Skipper”.

The companies which are engaged in designing and small shipbuilding have taken part in an exhibition of 2009 (“SIGO-Marine”, “Port-service”, “Chaika Yachting”, , the firms rendering services in storage and operation of water techniques (“Minbud”, “Plast Bak”), yacht insurance (“International Law Offices”), yacht charter (“Pupa Yachting”, Turkey), and also companies representing yacht clothes (ТМ “MARINEPOOL”, Snigur PE), yacht equipment and outboard motors (“Spetsautotechnika Center”, “Yamaha-net” company), navigating systems (“Aeroscan”). All the segments of yacht market were represented both native and foreign producers.

Visitors of the “BoatExpo. Odessa” exhibition had an opportunity to get acquainted personally with the production of such known western manufacturers, as: Mariah Boats, Caravelle Powerboats, Malibu Boats, Karavan Trailers, Crownline Boats, (“Aquatoria Dnepr”) Huster, Chaparral, Tristan, Askeladden, Viknes, modular floating berthing systems Jet Dock for hydro cycles, (“Gilbert Marine”); Crownline, Brig, UMS Boat, Quicksilver, Silver, Johnson, Honda, Tohatsu, Mercury, sailing yachts Dufour, («Katran»); Hоnda; Sessa Marine, Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Apreamare, Mochi Craft, Custom Line, Colombo, Cruisers Yachts, Sea Pro, Boston Whaler, Chris Craft, (“Marine House Arcadia”); Lamberti, (“Soyuz-Ukraina”);  Unicor Group («Yunikor Odessa»);  Byliner, Cranchi, Majesty, aqua bikes Jet One, («MARINE SERVICE») and also production of such companies as "Top Yachts Division Group”, “Promtrans”, MTPK «ALNI» and others.

Such Ukrainian manufacturers have also pleased the visitors of the exhibition: “Esta” LTD, “Alexander Yachts”, TM “KASATKA”, BANHZUKOV PE, yacht shipyard “Vokrug Sveta”, “АВ-2000”, “Seol Composite” and others.

The particular interest for visitors of the exhibition was caused by the exposition of means for the productive leisure organization on water. Novelties in area of kite surfing, surfing, kayaking and water attractions have shown the fallowing companies: “DIAMANT”, “Akvapolis”, “Vector”, «Bassein-Yug-Service», "Sun-Marine", «Board Sport Center».

One of the main events of the exhibition the Round Table “Actual Questions on yachting in Ukraine” has become. Action was spent with support of the Department of culture and tourism of the Odessa regional state administration and the Department of the recreational complex and tourism of the Odessa City Council. As initiators of carrying out of the Round table the company “International Law Offices” and Yachting Information centre of the Association of Odessa yachtsmen has acted.

On creation of a wide resonance of the exhibition the advertising campaign including all necessary tools of advertising communications and public relations has been directed.

All actions of the exhibition “BoatExpo.Odessa” 2008 were highly appreciated by experts. Results of the questioning spent at an exhibition among participants and visitors allow predicting considerable expansion of an exposition of exhibitions, increase in its participants and visitors. In 2009 the exhibition will pass in April, 9 - 12.
